Each year, our congregation celebrates its littlest learners through Vacation Bible School, a weeklong program of classes designed to teach children more about our church and Jesus Christ. V-B-S is important to all children, whether they are first-time attenders or have been with us from the cradle. In fact, many in our community of faith accepted Christ as a result of the firm foundation laid by the Vacation Bible School program. This year is no exception, of course! We are proud to present as our V-B-S curriculum for 2019 In the Wild from LifeWay!
FOR CHILDREN GRADES KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SIX
Children will arrive in the Courtyard on Love Street at 6:30p and gather in the Chapel for Opening Assembly. From there, they will rotate through classes which teach them more about faith and the Bible. They'll also have time to sing fun new songs and get creative with crafts. After closing assembly, we will dismiss to the Courtyard at 8:45p. Children will be assisted across Love Street by a crossing guard to the First Baptist parking lot.
It is easy to find First Baptist -- we're located at the corner of Main and Love Streets in Downtown Erwin. We've provided a map here to help you find your way to V-B-S 2019!
FOR PRE-KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN
First Baptist's Pre-K Vacation Bible School welcomes children age 3 and older who are potty-ready. Due to sanitation concerns and staffing needs, First Baptist Church is unable to provide diaper or training pant changes during V-B-S.
